The goal of PREP is to assist parents in the religious education of children attending public schools in Kindergarten to Grade 7 and to prepare them to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist in Grade 2 and Confirmation in Grade 7.
PREP used to be known as CCD (Catechism Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) or simply as "Catechism," and provides religious education to Catholic children attending non-Catholic schools.
Our PREP nights are conducted on Wednesday evenings (starts 6:30pm) during the school year.
PREP has started and we give thanks to the Lord for His great love for us and all of creation! Fr. Larry has mentioned a few times about ‘divine renovation”. This year for PREP, we will strengthen the foundation of the domestic church, meaning ‘us’ , the parish families. So we are asking all the PREP parents to stay and spend an hour with their children instead of just dropping them off. Take time to relax after a busy day at work and talk with other parents. Say ‘Yes’ to some ‘down’ time to listen to the Holy Spirit. The invitation is still open to parents of children going to public school and in need of learning about Jesus and faith.
Please connect with Ana at the parish office. Thank you and God bless you!
