Welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes
Let’s make our community a better place together!
Let’s make our community a better place together!
Our Lady of Lourdes is a Roman Catholic Parish under the Archdiocese of Vancouver. We are one of the oldest French and English speaking parishes in Coquitlam. Over the past 100 years, we have assisted thousands of families, both parishioners and visitors, with their spiritual and financial needs.
Are you passionate about helping the local community? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision for a more vibrant community possible. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join our parish team!
Our community is blessed with amazing individuals and families. We are so grateful for your help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, and spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of this amazing community.
There will be a special Mass and celebration here on the vigil of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Everyone is invited to come on December 11 at 7 pm to honour Our Lady with a Spanish/ English Mass and procession.
A reception will follow with food and music. There will be a presentation on Our Lady of Guadalupe highlighting special features and graces about her that are not widely known.
All are welcome!
Les Échos du Pacifique invites you to their annual Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Catholic Church in Coquitlam.
Under the direction of Marla Mayson, the choir presents a diverse selection of pieces that we hope surround you with feelings of mystery, peace and love, warm memories of traditional celebrations, the magic of winter’s arrival, and the hope and inspiration of a new year.
This year, we feature works by Ivo Antonigni, Robert Sieving, John Leavitt, Sarah Quartel, John
Rutter, Douglas Wagner and Bryn Nixon from Vancouver. We are also thrilled to present two fantastic new pieces by John Michael Trotta, a beautiful reimagining of a traditional French carol by Kyle Pedersen, and a French version of a much-loved Christmas standard!
As always, there will be a selection of audience songs that we can all sing together! We hope you will join us!

Project Advance makes possible the many ministries and programs that bring us together, furthering our evangelizing mission, both at the parish and throughout the archdiocese. With your donations over the years, we have been able to accomplish many great works! It is inspiring to see so many people working together to further the Kingdom of God. Most parishioners are aware of our plans to renovate the basement. An important feature of the renovation is to bring back the windows that were boarded up over fifty years ago. Windows allow the light to come in. Beautiful daylight. Allowing daylight in through the windows will make our church basement far more appealing than a box filled with artificial light. Our parish goal this year is $70,000 to help cover the cost of the windows. All parishioners are encouraged to donate as participation is just as important, if not more so, than the amount given. Please offer something, large or small, for the future of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. You can contribute to Project Advance by speaking with a volunteer at the church entrance, going online to projectadvance.ca, scanning the QR code on the Project Advance poster, or by dropping by the parish office. Let’s bring God’s natural light into the church basement and help shine the light of faith on our neighborhood.
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish has assisted thousands of at-need individuals throughout its rich history. Since 1909, we have opened our doors to the Maillardville community and beyond, providing a rich history of inclusion, spirituality, and community development.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. Your contribution today helps us make a meaningful difference today.
